How You Can Help. . . and have a lot of fun, too.
The FSDS Board of Directors is composed of volunteers who welcome help from other volunteers throughout
the community. There is always something to do, no experience is necessary, and your unique skills and
talents are welcomed and appreciated.
If you have time that you are willing to donate, you can get involved by distributing posters or handbills,
by helping to set up before an event, or by meeting friendly people at the door or the refreshment table.
Volunteering your talents for dance instruction, music DJ, marketing, graphic design, grant writing, fund
raising, or community outreach, can be a very rewarding experience and would be very much appreciated.
If you would like to be more involved, there may be a seat on the Board for you. If you have ideas or
skills that you think can help, we’d like to hear them! Contact any Board member at

Cash donations are always welcome and are tax-deductible. Donations allow FSDS to continue to sponsor
Swing Dance events and workshops and to bring experienced instructors and outstanding live bands to the
Sierra Foothills at reasonable admission costs. Donations can be mailed to FSDS, PO Box 352, Nevada City,
CA 95959.
FSDS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is also registered with the State of California,
Charitable Trust #125829.
